What is Paradise like?

What Allah Almighty has kept hidden from us of the delights of Paradise is beyond our ability to comprehend. Almighty Allah says:

And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes [i.e. satisfaction] as reward for what they used to do.

Quran - 32:17
(interpretation of the meaning)

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:

Allah, the Exalted, has said: “I have prepared for My righteous Slaves [in Paradise] what no eyes have ever seen, no ears have ever heard of, and what has never come to the mind or heart of a human being.”

Sahih al-Bukhari, 3244

What Paradise is built of

Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, said:

I asked, ‘O Messenger of Allah, from what are people created?’ He said: ‘From water.’ We (present Companions) asked, ‘From what is Paradise built?’ He said: ‘Bricks of gold and silver and mortar of fragrant musk; its pebbles are pearls and rubies, and its soil is saffron. Whoever enters it is blessed with joy and will never be miserable; he will remain there forever and will never die; his clothes will never wear out and his youth will never fade away.’

Jami` at-Tirmidhi, 2526

The rivers of Paradise

Allah, the Most High and Exalted, has told us that rivers flow from beneath Paradise. He says in the Quran:

And give good tidings to those who believe and do righteous deeds that they will have gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow.

Quran - 2:25
(interpretation of the meaning)

The clothing of its people

The people of Paradise will wear the most luxurious clothes and adorn themselves with jewellery of gold, silver and pearls. They will wear, amongst other things, garments of silk and bracelets of gold, silver and pearls. Almighty Allah says:

Indeed, Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds to gardens beneath which rivers flow. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl, and their garments therein will be silk.
